James Graham is a folk rock artist  who cut his teeth in post punk NYC before moving to the country to develop a sound that grooves with soulful authenticity. Raised on Bob Dylan, Disco, and all manner of Blues and Soul, James started performing in New York’s East Village as part the Anti-folk scene at the SideWalk Cafe and CBGB’s 313 Gallery. 

Since those early days, he’s continued honing his sound while staying true to the varied influences that inspired him — think Neil Young meets Roxy Music. 

Now, in 2025, he’s excited to release his first full-length album, Confusion and Wonder, a follow-up to an EP and several singles. With the new album, he’s joined by a core group of long time friends, some choice studio players, and producer Ezra Oklan. The result is a tightly crafted statement of love and awareness for grooving to the present moment. Read about the release here.
